Fetal Scalp Electrode - Preferred choice by Care Givers in comparable trials

Unlinked headings below to be linked shortly

"The Surgicraft- COPELAND performed the Best Overall"
Bristish Journal of Obstertrics & Gynaecology

"... particularly in respect of the attachment to the scalp"

The Copeland was compared in a Randomized controlled trial with the Hewlett-Packard & the Rocket-Rolon. The trial demonstrated clinically important differences between the performance of the three electrodes. The Copeland was significantly less likely to become detached. This lead to fewer vaginal examinations to apply a new electrode. It was clearly preferable to the Hewlett-Packard and the Rocket-Rolon both to clinical care givers and to the women.
