The J-Tip Needle Free Syringe is a 10cms long and weighs only 9 grams. It delivers medication under
pressure from a gas cartridge. The gas is released by pressing the trigger. This drives the plunger which pushes the piston and medication from the sterile syringe through the skin and into the underlying subcutaneous tissue. 
Medication is forced through a micro orifice at a high velocity in a fraction of a second. Only the base tip of the J-Tip Needle Free Syringe touches the skin. The gas escapes from the syringe via a safety hole and never comes in contact with the skin or medication.

Injection by the J-Tip  Injector dispenses the medication uniformly in spray like pattern in the subcutaneous tissue. The
rate of absorption  relatively faster due to increased surface area of fluid and avoids tissue
damage.

Dr. Arthur Charles of Diabetes Research Center  University Clinic of Anaheim, California conducted 
a small study using 10 patients, requiring insulin. During all of these case studies, which lasted for several months, it was clear that the excellent glucose control by each patient was maintained during the J-Tip Needle Free Jet syringe insulin delivery. There were no significant medical adverse events occurred. It was concluded that the J-Tip needle free device would be a significant improvement in the general management of insulin-requiring diabetic patients. The J-Tip Needle Free jet syringe is very small and light jet syringe compared to other bulky and expensive jet injectors. Patients readily accepted the J-Tip due to its medical efficacy and convenience.
